Saturday night’s Concert in the Park features the tribute band Kalimba – The Spirit of Earth, Wind & Fire. Uplifting R&B and funk with multiple singers, a killer horn section and cool choreography. Find more details at santa-clarita.com/concerts.

If an acoustic band is more your style, you can catch The fahr.west Sessions live at It’s a Grind on The Old Road in Castaic on Saturday night. “Gruven” Tom Lamog and his six bandmates with special guest singer Sara Lamog will serve up a tasty blend of homegrown originals, California country-rock, and good ol’ rock ’n’ roll.

The set will feature tunes from fahr.west’s new album, “Live at Kulak’s Woodshed.” Showtime’s at 7 p.m. and admission is free for all ages. Call 661-702-9636 for more info.

Finally, “House Blend” hosted by yours truly here in SCVTV is summer vacation. But you can see our recent shows featuring The fahr.west Sessions and Hard Six, both premiering songs from their new albums. You’ll find those shows among many others on demand at scvhouseblend.com.
