AMG & Associates Inc., an award-winning Santa Clarita, California-based construction company, announces the addition of Scott Sampson, Director of Business Development, to its highly successful team.
Sampson is a Harvard-educated architect, who also holds an undergraduate degree in business management from the University of Texas, Austin. He joins AMG following more than 15 years as Director of Business Development for Perera, Inc., a respected general contracting and construction management firm based in the Inland Empire.
Previous to his stint with Perera, Sampson worked in business development for Kajima Corporation, a world-renowned multinational corporation. In his new role with AMG, Sampson is charged with achieving the company’s ambitious year-over-year growth goals, shaping its image, developing its business in the private sector, and increasing revenues.
“We went through a very thorough and intense search and interview process,” says Albert Giacomazzi, AMG’s President/CEO. “Though the finalists were all very talented and accomplished, we chose Scott because of his results with his previous companies and the long-term relationships he built with them. We like stability. We’re here to stay, and we want our team to be here, too.”
Throughout his career, Sampson has fostered and maintained long-term relationships with such organizations as Cedars Sinai Medical Center, USC, California Institute of Technology, the Scripps Hospital System, and the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace – National Archives, among many others.
“I am delighted to now be part of the AMG family,” Sampson states. “AMG is very highly regarded in the construction industry, and we have a great deal of exciting projects in our future. I’m looking forward to all that I can achieve as part of my new team and all that we’ll continue to contribute to our broader community in new and innovative ways.”
