its not a “study” i just did it –its a questionnaire on TOLL! lanes on the 5 –that’s all –they– WANT EVEN MORE MONEY –lets all get taxed twice!!
Two considerations:
1) Absolutely dedicate the car pool lane to trucks. That is the biggest delay through there.
2) If the Metrolink had a consistent hourly connection to the North Hollywood Metro, many Santa Clarita residents would be better about using Metrolink.
3) A dedicated bike lane over Sierra Highway to San Fernando Roaf to and from Sun Valley.
Tax us to death. We already pay for these services.

instead of this –lets just MAKE the trucks use that ONE!!! far right lane all the way up or down that pass to the valley –NO PASSING!! EVER!!I do not care if your pooping along at 20 mph its only for 5 miles or so –EAT IT! then fine them 1000$ for using ANY other lanes!!! put one CHP there all day and night he will make millions in a year!

Sound reduction walls . Sound reduction walls. The freeway noise keeps getting worse.
This is not a survey of local needs. It is not an attempt to find out what we need in terms of service from our freeways.
It is a blatant attempt to place commercial use of the 14 freeway to the I5 freeway as the only service issue that will be considered in dealing with congestion on I5.
And by the way, it totally ignores any load issues that may impact the 14 freeway from the still viable sand and gravel mining project that the BLM may be forced to approve.
I this a lame attempt to make room for all of those new cars coming from the Newhall Ranch Project? Toll lanes are not the answer. Cemex project needs to once and for all be taken off the table too. Where are those trucks going to drive? Our Valley is slowly turning into to the Woodland Hill/Encino area around the 101. That means our surface streets are going to be clogged with traffic also.
The state has the final word, and the state says north L.A. County must accommodate roughly double the current population in the next 25 years.

We don’t need toll roads! We’re already paying taxes for highway improvements, there’s no need to tax us more. We should absolutely extend the HOV lanes between 14 fwy and Parker Road, but toll lanes are NOT okay.
So Metro is trying to get money from us in toll fee’s since we would not allow the huge electronic signs on the freeway.
Back off Metro (and affiliated mob’s) before someone drops a house on you.
Antonovich needs to be working fast on this to make sure they don’t get away with this. They need to be blocked!
Metro mailed me a card and said if I took the survey they would give me a $5.00 gift card upon completion.I just came across my card I had saved it.
This was done 11/03/2015 I never received a gift card,
I am sure they pocketed thousands on this survey gimmick.
The freeway needs more wildlife corridor crossings. A well-known mountain lion that was collard was struck and killed on the I-5 Freeway. He had traveled all the way from the Santa Monica Mountains only to be killed on the I-5. There needs to be more connections between the Los Padres and Angeles Forests as well as connections south at the 126 freeway to the Santa Susana Mountains.
