Here’s your Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for Canyon Country -West( Zone 7) for the Week of 01/04/2015 to 01/11/2016
This past week in Zone 7, the following crimes are currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station Detectives:
-A commercial burglary occurred near the 26500 block of Golden Valley Road. One suspect was arrested for entering a business with the intent to cash a fraudulent check.
-A grand theft auto occurred near the 20400 block of Soledad Canyon Road. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle which was parked near the above location.
-A petty theft occurred near the 19400 block of Soledad Canyon Road. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s wallet which she left laying on a jewelry counter at a business.
-A shoplifting occurred near the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. One suspect was arrested for taking store items at a business location and making no attempt to pay for the items.
