[JCI] – The Santa Clarita Valley chapter of Junior Chamber International has announced its new board for 2016 will be lead by President Shauna Criner.

The Jaycees held elections at their annual general meeting in November and set out their plans for 2016. Board members take their new positions on Jan. 1, 2016 and will be invested at the Jaycees Annual Awards and Installation Gala on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016.

“I am thrilled by the interest from young professionals in serving on the 2016 Jaycee board in Santa Clarita. I am impressed with Shauna’s plans and energy and am looking forward to supporting them,” said Neil Fitzgerald.

“I am so honored to have been elected the 2016 President of the Santa Clarita Valley Chapter. The Jaycees are going from strength to strength and I’m working closely with 2015 President Chris Kahan and his team on a seamless transfer,” said Criner.

To help Santa Clarita Junior Chamber, the Jaycees, welcome their new board one can join the organization’s members at their Annual Awards and Installation Gala on February 19th at The Paseo Club. The event starts with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing.

The Jaycees will be looking back on a successful 2015 as well as installing their 2016 leadership team.

The Chamber will also be handing out awards to members who have shown exceptional leadership this year.
New this year will be recognition for our community partners, particularly Jen Brown from Surfaces SCV and the SCV Chamber of Commerce for their unwavering support and significant sponsorship of our premier programs, SCV 40 Under Forty.
