Public Safety and Crime Prevention Report for Saugus
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
The following crimes were reported last week (02/01/16- 02/07/16):
A black 10-speed bicycle was stolen from the front yard of a residence near the 27300 block of Santa Clarita Road.
A wallet theft was reported from a business near the 26800 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The victim left his wallet inside the store and a unknown suspect took the wallet that contained $1,100.00 in U.S. currency.
An unknown suspect stole the rims and tires off of a Chevrolet Silverado truck. This incident occurred near the 27600 block of Santa Clarita Road.
A burglary was reported at a business near the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The suspect smashed the front glass door to the business and gained entry. It is unknown at this time if the suspect took anything from the location.
There was a vehicle burglary reported near the 28900 block of Mirada Circulo. The suspect pried open the door lock to the victim’s GMC Yukon to gain entry. The suspect stole the victim’s wallet which contained his credit cards. The suspect used the stolen credit cards to purchase items valued at several thousand dollars.
