Canyon Country East: Public Safety & Crime Information Report for the Week of 03/07/16 – 03/13/16
The following crimes were reported last week:
Assault with a firearm – 19300 block of Golden Valley Road. The victim, a loss prevention employee, was conducting surveillance when he saw the suspect acting suspicious. He followed the suspect out into the parking lot where the suspect climbed into a vehicle. The suspect accelerated his vehicle towards the victim and pulled beside him. The suspect rolled down the window and pointed a handgun at the victim.
Burglary – 16500 block of Soledad Canyon Road. The suspect smashed the glass door, entered the location and stole U.S. Currency, checks and business cards.
Burglary – 28200 block of Miss Grace Drive. The Suspect(s) unknown pried opened the front passenger side window and stole tools. Additionally, the suspect punched the vehicle’s ignition and attempted to steal it.
Burglary – 29100 block of Lotusgarden Drive. The Suspect(s) unknown broke the back window of two classrooms and gained entry. The suspect(s) stole a projector, an iPod and a mini iPad.
Grand Theft Auto – 27300 block of Rock Rose Lane. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s white BMW from the location.
Gand Theft Auto – 18100 block of Sundowner Way. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s white Toyota truck from the location.
Arson – intersection of Sandy Drive/Grace Lane. Person(s) unknown set fire to the victim’s truck bed. Several boxes were burnt and the wooded paneling that surrounded the truck bed was charred.
Petty Theft – 28000 block of Sarabande Lane. Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole miscellaneous items.
