Community: Saugus Crime Report for the Week of August 8-14, 2016
08/08/16
Burglary- 27600 block of Susan Beth Way; The victim returned home and saw that his screen door had been bent open. The suspect stole a 12-pack of beer and a bottle of Jack Daniels.
Burglary- 21900 block of Centurion Way; The victim’s work trailer was parked near the back of the school. It was broken into sometime during the last week and several tools were stolen.
08/10/16
Vehicle Burglary- 26400 block of Summit Circle; The victim came out to his truck in the morning and saw that his front seats and jack were stolen from the interior of the vehicle.
Grand Theft Auto- 22900 block of Oak Ridge Drive; The victim’s 1993 Honda Accord was stolen from the location. This vehicle is still outstanding.
08/14/16
Child Endangerment – 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road; A male suspect left his two young children inside of his car while he was shopping. The temperature outside was near 100 degrees. The fire department took the temperature inside of the car and measured it at 134 degrees. The father was arrested for child endangerment.
