The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors are looking to give the final approval for the Castaic Sports Complex Skate Park on Tuesday.
The project includes a 6,500-square-foot in-ground concrete skate
park with sports lighting, a covered seating area, drinking fountain, bike rack and walkways along the perimeter, according to a report.
The total project cost is $1.3 million, according to the report. A “one-time, start-up cost of $6,000 for signage, maintenance equipment, and dedication
ceremony and an ongoing annual operational cost of $70,000 for recreation, maintenance and utilities” is expected.
