Four Santa Clarita Valley homes will be decked out in true holiday splendor during Henry Mayo’s 36th Annual Home Tour this December.

The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The theme this year is “Home for the Holidays.”

In addition to the Home Tour, a Special Gala on Friday, Dec. 2, will offer a preview glimpse of the homes from 6 to 9 p.m. and a festive buffet dinner at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Guests can experience a Winter Wonderland of snow on the Gala Evening with a possible sighting of Santa while enjoying a glass of champagne at one of the homes. Advance tickets only. Cost is $125. For ticket information and to purchase, please call (661) 200-1200 or visit henrymayogiving.com.

On the day of the Home Tour, a Holiday Boutique featuring a wide selection of creative and unique holiday items for sale will be open to the public Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Henry Mayo Center, 23803 McBean Parkway, on the hospital’s campus. Bring your friends and family and shop from a selection of beautiful holiday items presented by more than 30 vendors.

“The Preview Gala, the Home Tour and the Holiday Boutique are great opportunities to get into the spirit of the holidays in the company of your family and friends,” said Tami Reyna, Home Tour President.

Visitors will have an opportunity to tour the homes decorated in unique themes of festive holiday décor in the gated community of Westridge in Valencia. Graciously opening their homes to the community, the homeowners are working with interior designers on showcasing contemporary and traditional holiday perspectives in each individual home. Creative local designers Patrick Tremblay, Jeanna Crawford and Jen Brown from Surfaces SCV Design Center will bring the magic of the season to each home with their own unique interpretations of the holiday season.

“We are thrilled to have these talented individuals share their creative visions and grateful to the homeowners for opening their doors to the Santa Clarita Valley community, Reyna said. “This year, we are proud to feature the homes of two local physicians from Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, a Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Board Member and the home of a new family to our community.

The holiday Home Tour is hosted by the hospital’s Home Tour League. To date, Home Tour events have raised almost $1 million to benefit Henry Mayo’s Women’s Services. The Home Tour is open to adults and children over 12. For safety reasons, guests are requested to wear flat shoes. No photography please. Tickets cost $35, or $30 if purchased in advance.
