Homicide Detectives Investigate Human Remains Found Near Golden Valley

Homicide detectives are responding to a report of human remains found near Golden Valley Road, about a fourth of a mile west of Robert C Lee Parkway.

Detectives have learned that the remains, which appear to be a decomposed human body, were discovered by a local citizen who was walking his dog on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at approximately 12:15 PM.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner – Coroner’s Office has recovered the human remains and will work with Homicide detectives towards identifying the victim. At this time, it is unknown how long the remains have been in the area.

There is no further information available at this time.

    Priscila I remember the story of your brother. He was coming back from Magic Mtn. with friend right? I am sorry there is no news yet about him or Bryce. I think about both of them often.

    Golden valley is on the other side of town from where your brother went missing.

    I have always thought those “friends” of your brothers know more than they have said.

    Either way I will continue to pray for both of them.
