LANCASTER – Collin Ferguson continued his hot hitting in his short time with the JetHawks, but Lancaster dropped the series opener to the San Jose Giants, 7-3, on Thursday night at The Hangar.
Ferguson went 2-for-4 with an RBI double to raise his batting average to .433 in 17 games with Lancaster. He also stole his third base in five tries.
The Giants struck first on a two-run home run by Steven Duggar in the third inning. San Jose gave up the lead a couple times, but never trailed in the contest.
