CSUN Men’s Basketball games will be featured multiple times on ESPN3 during the Big West Conference season, the league office announced on Wednesday. Six games will be aired live on ESPN3 including three home contests while three more games are eligible to be added to the schedule on wild card dates.

On the ESPN3 schedule this season, the Matadors will host last season’s Big West Conference Tournament champion UC Davis on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. CSUN will face UC Riverside twice on ESPN3 beginning with a road contest on Wednesday, Jan. 17 followed by a return meeting on Feb. 14. The Matadors also visit UC Irvine on ESPN3 on Wednesday, Feb. 7 and Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 17. CSUN will wrap up the regular season against the Titans on ESPN3 in a Senior Day matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.

Among the candidates for an ESPN3 selection this season include CSUN’s home games against Hawai’i (Jan. 6), Cal Poly (Jan. 20) and UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 24). The wild card matchups will not be determined until approximately 2-3 weeks in advance of the game date.

Along with ESPN3, the Matadors will be featured on Fox Sports West this season when CSUN travels to Long Beach State on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. In addition, CSUN’s games with Cal Poly (Jan. 20) is a wild card date for Fox Sports West while the Matadors’ meetings with Hawai’i (Jan. 6), Cal Poly (Jan. 20) and UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 3 & Feb. 24) are wild card dates on the ESPN family of networks (ESPNU & ESPN2).

ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network available nationwide. The network can be accessed on computers, smartphones, tablets and other streaming devices through the ESPN app or the WatchESPN app.

The Matadors’ 2017-18 season kicks off on Friday, Nov. 10 against Life Pacific at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the CSUN Sports Network presented by Dignity Health.
