CSUN Athletics has unveiled a new Red Rally student section at men’s soccer games for the remainder of the regular season. The Red Rally section is available exclusively for CSUN students and is located at mid-field directly adjacent to the pitch, as close as you can get to the action. No other soccer program in the Big West Conference has a fan experience as unique as this one.
“The soccer student-athletes love to play for their peers,” said Men’s Soccer Head Coach Terry Davila. “We want CSUN students to get an up-close view of the pride that men’s soccer student-athletes take when playing for CSUN.”
The first 90 CSUN students at each remaining home game will be admitted into the Red Rally section, with field-adjacent bleacher seating putting them in the middle of the game. Entry to the section is located adjacent to the west side bleacher seating. CSUN student admission to men’s soccer games remains free with a valid student ID.
CSUN Athletics’ Red Rally student fan group has supported the Matadors for years, and has been active at men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball games in The Matadome in the past. This is the first time that CSUN Athletics is activating an official Red Rally section at Matador Soccer Field.
Fans in the Red Rally section may receive special promotions and giveaways, in addition to being able to participate in the game experience in a unique way.
“The innovative men’s soccer Red Rally student section will give our fans an up close view of the game and allow them to engage with our men’s soccer program in a new way,” said Dr. Brandon Martin, CSUN Athletic Director. “We’re always working to make our fan experience better and excited to support both our student-athletes and the CSUN student community. We’re thankful to our campus partners who helped us launch the Red Rally section.”
