U.S. Air Force Airman Taylor M. Lingscheit has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
A 2014 graduate of West Ranch High School in Valencia, the airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Lingscheit is the daughter of David Lingscheit and step-daughter of Monica Lingscheit of Walnut Shade, Mo., granddaughter of Leabele Mcleod of Chico, Calif., and niece of Shawna Current of Hollister, Calif., Krista Cherry of Ventura, Calif., and Doug McLeod of Chico, Calif. She is also the sister of Kyle Lingscheit.
