“NCIS” producer-writer Scott Williams has been added to the lineup of speakers at the 2018 Economic Outlook Conference hosted by the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation and College of the Canyons at Tournament Players Club Valencia on March 8 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“NCIS” has been on the air and filming in the SCV since 2003. In addition, Williams has worked on “Miami Medical” (2010) and “Third Watch” (1999). Williams is a co-founder of Shane’s Inspiration, a non-profit organization that builds playgrounds where disabled kids can play with their able-bodied peers. He has filmed extensively in the SCV and will discuss film and television trends (and might even bring along a celebrity guest).
Williams will join previously announced panelists Robert Tucker of Innovation Resource Consulting Group; Dr. Mark Schniepp of the California Economic Forecast; and Mark Vitner, a senior economist with Wells-Fargo.
Gold and platinum sponsors will be treated to a presentation by Tucker, a futurist and innovation speaker whose talk is entitled “Leading Ahead of the Curve.”
At the main conference, Vitner will address the national economy and touch on relevant global megatrends, and Schniepp will present this year’s Economic Outlook Forecast for the region.
As a reminder, this year’s event is in a new venue – the beautiful Valencia View Room at TPC Valencia. Parking is at a premium so we will be rewarding attendees who rideshare with a FREE drink ticket (to qualify you must use the designated dropoff zone).
As always, Wells Fargo, our Premier Sponsor, will host a cocktail party immediately following the conference.
Limited sponsorships are still available.
