What the heck! No more TAXES!! They don’t get it after the recall of the gas tax going on now? How stupid are they? Quit taxing my home!!
Here is a clue, NO MORE TAXES!! Take your useless selves and curb spending in other areas if you need to. You are bloated and efficient!
I hope John and Ken are after this one.
Right. And good for her! That took guts.
Thank you for your one lone vote on another tax on us. ❤️
And I just saw an article on the Signal site that says the Saugus Union School district is trying to set up
Mello Roos type taxes in other areas too!!
STOP TAXING HOMEOWNERS!!
I see a story in the Signal that Saugus Union School district is trying to put in place another tax on homeowners in a few areas of Saugus. A Mello Roos type Tax!!! Anything to get around Prop 13 which protects homeowners from these huge taxes!
KEEP YOUR HANDS OUT OF HOMEOWNERS POCKETS!!
Finally, someone to stand up for us, the taxpayer. Thank You!
And here is another proposed homeowner tax in todays SCVNews. Read the last paragraph to see how sneaky they are being at using the wording to get around Prop 13!
“In its next meeting Tuesday morning, July 17, the county Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on adopting the “Safe, Clean Water Program” measure proposed by the county Public Works Department, and consider placing an ordinance and parcel tax measure on the November 6 general election ballot.
According to county documents, the measure would “impose a special tax upon parcels located within the Los Angeles County Flood Control District, to fund projects and programs to increase stormwater capture and reduce stormwater and urban runoff pollution.”
“Impermeable area” means a parcel area covered by materials or constructed surfaces such as buildings, roofs, paved roadways, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, brick, asphalt, concrete, pavers, covers, slabs, sheds, pools and other constructed surfaces or hardscape features.
The measure would require a two-thirds majority vote in November to pass.
Because Prop. 13 limits property tax increases, the proposed fee is being called a “parcel” tax. But in effect, it is an additional tax on property.”
And here is ANOTHER tax for this Nov ballot. This story is from SCVNews. See the last paragraph and look at how sneaky they are being to get around
Prop 13!!

Thank you Supervisor for your No vote.
With parcel tax proposals such as this, in all fairness it would be appropriate for only property owners and not renters to vote as property owners get stuck with the bills!
I have one question, who will pay for all of this once those of us who pay a huge majority of taxes leave California because the continuing new taxes are nothing short of of robbery? Thank you Catherine Barger forecasting the only vote of sanity.
You have my vote
Thank you, Kathryn Barger for voting against this ridiculous tax.
