No longer the Community we Once knew and loved
Probably the same, except back then kids either did not report it or we did not hear about it. As a kid I recall several times that strangers either chased us or followed us like creeps and not once did we report it.
I was almost taken from the bus stop on camp plenty when I was a student at Sierra vista in 2004-2005 so it’s not a new issue.
Gonzalo Roman you keep this that way

Crazy! We just got to continue reminding kids of these issues and what to do in these types of situations.
Seriously!
Jason Hill wtf is going on
People are sick.
Can we report this story accurate so parents and students can take the appropriate action? This did not happen after school as implied. She was not walking home from school when this happened. This occurred at 9pm at night which is several hours after school has closed. Saying this happened after school has put fear into parents ,teachers and students and has raised questions if their kid is safe to walk home from school during daylight hours. No student should be walking around at 9pm on a school night anyways. I’m not trying to make excuses for what happened but there are a lot of parent too afraid to let their child go to school due to they were not given the correct information to this story.
You’ll want to call the school and tell them, because (as it says) it’s not a news story written by us. It’s unedited information from the school.

Why are there so many damn perverts out there? I feel like they’re coming out of the woodwork. Stop it !
Im old and I recall being chased twice, both times I was lucky and saved by kind neighbors. My sister was chased, she was saved because she ran into some kind strangers open door. We never reported it, we didn’t know we should. It is no different today as it was yesterday. The only difference is thanks to technology we now know to report these things and it gets communicated fast. Lets just help each other by keeping an eye on all our kids, paying attention to people and cars that seem out of place and lets report it.
