A Santa Clarita woman was arrested Sunday and charged with two felonies after allegedly making bomb threats at businesses in Valencia, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.
Jean McGraw, 54, of Santa Clarita, has been charged with making a hoax bomb threat and making a criminal threat, said Shirley Miller, station spokesperson.
The suspect had allegedly left notes reading “there’s a bomb!” at different business establishments in Valencia this past week, Miller said.
The businesses the suspect allegedly threatened Sunday and in the recent past were at or near the Valencia Town Center mall and the shopping plaza on Magic Mountain Parkway where Target and Mimi’s Restaurant are located, Miller said.
The restaurant was evacuated due to a bomb threat Sunday afternoon, Miller confirmed, adding that Mimi’s has recently received similar threats also believed to be from the suspect.
“The same individual left a note there before,” she said.
“Detectives had already been working on the case for the last week and they had pretty much identified her,” Miller said. “When she struck again Sunday, detectives ended up locating her and arrested her.”
McGraw was booked at the SCV Sheriff’s Station late Sunday afternoon, with bail set at $70,000, Miller said.

They want equal rights so I expect the same trial and punishment that a man would get.
