Five of the six William S. Hart Union High School District marching bands qualified for and performed in the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) Marching Band Championships.
It is the highest level of competition these bands can reach and is considered the State Championships.
5A (120-149 Musicians)–Held at Martin Luther King High School in Riverside:
West Ranch – 2nd Place (Silver Medal)/High Auxiliary Award
4A (90-119 Musicians)–Held at Downey High School in Downey:
Hart – 1st Place (Gold Medal)/High Auxiliary Award
Golden Valley – 11th Place
3A (70-89 Musicians)–Held at Colony HS in Ontario:
Valencia – 2nd Place (Silver Medal)
2A (50-69 Musicians)–Held at Martin Luther King High School in Riverside:
Canyon – 8th Place
The Hart Regiment’s Gold Medal in Division 4A was the school’s 14th SCSBOA championship. Plus, this year is the second year in a row three different Hart School District bands were medalists.
