The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its first “POP-UP Biz Expo,” a new concept to help SCV businesses promote their products and services, on the California Institute of the Arts campus in Valencia on Wednesday, June 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Expo will take place throughout the Main Gallery at CalArts.
“We’re taking business networking to a whole new level,” said Nancy Starczyk, 2019 Chair of the Board of the SCV Chamber.
“The POP-UP Biz Expo is designed to be a format for local businesses to best showcase their company’s products and services in a new way which allows businesses to better network with each other,” Starczyk said.
This dynamic, new concept is designed to be a fast, zippy and interactive opportunity for local businesses.
Admission to the POP-UP Biz Expo is free for attendees. Businesses participating will register with a $175 fee for Chamber members and a $275 fee for non-members. Each participating business’s registration will include a personalized table-top sized pop-up banner to display on their table.
“We already have 50 businesses registered for the event and we expect to have 200 participating,” said Ivan Volschenk, managing partner for Evolve Business Strategies. “We’ve worked with our member businesses to create this new concept and we’re excited about launching a new event designed to promote local businesses.”
Initial event sponsors include Wells Fargo, CalArts and the City of Santa Clarita.
