The annual Holiday Home Tour to raise funds for women’s services at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, featuring a tour of three local homes, a Holiday Boutique and a Preview Gala, is set for Saturday, December 7.

A cherished tradition in Santa Clarita for more than three decades, the event attracts people from near and far who love the excitement and novelty of the holiday season.

Spectators will have the opportunity to view homes decorate beautifully by the most talented and imaginative interior designers.

“We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated support group who work tirelessly to raise funds for Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and who also do it with such style,” said Marlee Lauffer, president of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation.

“The Home Tour Preview Gala and Tour is the perfect event to kick off the holidays in the Santa Clarita Valley,” Lauffer said. “We are also grateful for the homeowners who generously open up their lovely homes for the tour, helping us to provide quality healthcare for our community.”

Hosted by the Holiday Home Tour League, this annual event has raised upwards of $1,000,000 for Women’s Services at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. This year, funds raised are designated for the Center for Women and Newborns, now open in the new patient tower at Henry Mayo.

This year’s theme, “Winter Wonderland,” will feature three professionally decorated homes located in the Sand Canyon area of Santa Clarita. Homeowners Brian Felkel/ Rebecca Raymond, Raul and Sandra Sandoval and Angelica Leon/Ray Mirzakhanian are all working with their talented interior designers to create the perfect holiday tour.

Each of the homes will reflect the distinct character of the homeowners. Bernard Underwood of An Intimate Place B.U. Designs is bringing “The Wonders of Christmas” to the Felkel/Raymond Family home, with a mix of traditional burgundy ribbons and gold ornaments and modern designs of wonderland white and sleek silver décor, all showcasing the luxurious design of the holiday season.

Nina del Valle of Superior Design is telling the Sandovals’ story of “What Christmas Means to Me,” using deep reds, silvers, golds and coppers in a traditional design with a Mediterranean Flair.

An “Enchanting Country Christmas” will be on display at the Leon/ Mirzakhanian home, courtesy of Courtney Michaels of CM Interiors, who will be featuring traditional and contemporary ideas. A variety of trees, each with its own spectacular piece of art, will be featured.
