Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station arrested two men and a woman for possession and/or sales of methamphetamine in a raid on a home in Newhall Thursday morning, according to officials.
Here’s the story from the station’s social media:
Narco crew busted a suspected drug house on Valley Street (24400 block) in Newhall this morning. Deputies served a search warrant at the residence which led to the arrest of three adults.
Deputies arrested Connie Daniel, age 48, and Kevin Harsla, age 35, for possession of methamphetamine for sales and Kenneth Haynie, age 50, for possession of methamphetamine.
Speaking of drug houses — earlier this year, Narco conducted an operation on a suspected drug house in Canyon Country that resulted in multiple arrests of individuals. We heard a rumor that house is up for sale now. If true, we’re really glad the message got across: Not in SCV.

Stephanie: What do you mean going ?? You must be new to SCV. Both those areas have been bad for two plus decades.
Unfortunately,it’s very true. The problem is the city wants to bring more people like that here.
I should hope not, the time is now to get involved.
Don’t forget about Valencia and Saugus OMG!
Thank you for such a smart observation Stephanie.
Good.
Probably my ex wife
Does this have any connection to the Deputy-involved shooting Monday night in Newhall, on Bottletree? Where there was a murder 6 mos. ago? Clearly there is drug activity in the area that’s bigger than we know and seems inter-related. Rival gangs involved maybe?
Since the gangs moved up to Lancaster-Palmdale from South and East L A, bringing their crime and drug dealing and battles with them, they have also brought all that even more to SCV as closer to the SF Valley and Westside where buyers can come up — we’re literally in the middle of major drug and gang activity, so much for the reputation of sleepy SCV, and yes it’s crept into Valencia too, today’s story is about a robbery, there are always robberies from cars parked outside the Marketplace and Mall and other supposedly upscale areas, time to put all the pieces together — these are all related incidents somehow.
I saw the police there and was wondering
So you mean for once there’s a chance I don’t see someone cracked out on the street this weekend? (Wishful thinking)
Meth and Heroin are destroying lives. Turn in all pushers. Treatment is a long road for those affected. Rehab 30-90 days live in.
Sober living house with daily drug testing, counseling, AA meetings too, at house for up to a year. Those that complete this type of program have a much better chance of long term sobriety. For those without insurance SCV needs more help, easy outreach. By treating them we save out city too.
AWESOMETOWN!
