The Los Angeles County Arts Commission announces 2017-18 applications are open for two distinct grant opportunities:
* Organizational Grant Program (OGP)
Providing Los Angeles County nonprofit arts organizations support to address priority needs and ensures cultural services for the diverse communities that comprise LA County;
* Community Impact Arts Grant Program (CIAG)
For nonprofit organizations that use the arts to support their mission while primarily providing a wider range of services and programs to residents of LA County.
WHO
Made possible by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, OGP and CIAG support organizations providing cultural services to LA County residents, communities and neigborhoods.
* OGP
Two-year grants to approximately 200 arts organizations annually which offer a wide variety of diverse cultural services to LA County. These services positively impact residents, neighborhoods and communities by providing direct access and increased opportunities for quality arts activities and programming that is often free or low cost.
* CIAG
One-year grants providing financial support for arts programming taking place at nonprofit social service and health organizations, municipal departments and institutions of higher education as part of larger missions to provide services to individuals and communities. CIAG grants provide support for arts services or activities in a wide variety of situations and settings often outside a traditional arts environment.
