wholefoods5percentThe Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation  has been selected as the beneficiary of 5% Day at Whole Foods Market in Valencia on April 24.

Beneficiaries are selected, based upon the needs of their local community, and receive 5% of net sales for that day at individual Whole Foods Markets.

By providing funding and services that benefit all public school districts in the Santa Clarita Valley, the SCV Education Foundation offered Whole Foods Market an opportunity to impact the entire valley through this fundraiser.

Join a free drum circle from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Whole Foods Market Parking Lot.

Located at 24130 Valencia Blvd.

California State Parks and the California Natural Resources Agency is expanding its popular California State Park Adventure Pass from 19 select state parks to 54. The pilot program, currently in its third year, allows California fourth graders and fourth-grade teachers free admission to participating parks until Aug. 31, 2024.
