You don’t owe us anything, but you’ll stick around if you want to see a fantastic show when Fooz Fighters, a Foo Fighters tribute band, performs at Concerts in the Park, presented by Logix Federal Credit Union. You won’t be looking to the sky to save you, but to the stage instead, when they perform this Saturday, Aug. 11, at 7:00 p.m., in Central Park (27150 Bouquet Canyon Road).
The Fooz Fighters lead singer, Nicky Rich, not only strongly resembles legendary Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl, but the band consistently delivers the bombastic, over-the-top vocal and stage performance fans expect from the Grammy Award-winning originals. Since forming in 2014, Fooz Fighters’ sound and striking resemblance has quickly made them one of the nation’s top tribute bands. Make your way back home and learn to fly at this week’s show.
Concerts in the Park is a free music series presented by the City every Saturday night through August 25. The family-friendly atmosphere allows residents and visitors to sit back, relax and enjoy the music all summer long. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets for seating at Central Park. Food vendors will be on-site selling a variety of concessions and snacks.
