International Non-Profit Child Rights and You (CRY) is organizing a first ever Arts and Movement Carnival in the Santa Clarita Valley on Aug. 12, from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Ekata Training Center, 27831 Smyth Dr., Valencia, 91355. This carnival is open to age groups from 3 years old and up. Kids, teens, adults, everyone is invited to be a part of this event and help a good cause of raising funds for the charity.
This art carnival will help raise money to send less privileged kids go to school this year.
There is a painting competition, yoga, Zumba and Martial arts session for the attendees. There is a ticket to register for the competition but rest of the activities are free for the public. There are local mompreneurs who are setting up their vendor booths at the carnival. So, there will be lot of stuff to shop and get ready for back to school!
“We want to invite everyone to our carnival and request to buy the tickets and help us raise enough funds so that maximum number of kids can get their basic rights to education, it is a great platform to show your creativity and give back to the community at the same time,” said Varnica Singh, LA Action Center Lead for CRY America.
Not only this, there is going to be a silent auction of various useful things, henna tattoo, crochet, cookie decoration and food trucks like ‘Bollywood Bites’ and ‘Ben and Jerry’s’ are coming to serve you delicious food and desserts!
Our venue partners ‘Ekata Training Center’ in Valencia will be demonstrating the Martial Arts sessions with 11 Time World Kickboxing Champion Anissa Meksen and owner/ chief coach of Ekata Professor Edward Monaghan.

Due to heavy request, we are removing the color restrictions. Participants can choose any color they like – Crayon, Pencil, Water Colors and Acrylic Colors.

• Ages 6-10: Topic – Nature and Me
• Ages 11-14: Topic – World Around Me
• Ages 15 and up: Topic – Abstract
Tickets- $15 for children ages 14 and under. $20 for ages 15 and up. (Art Supplies included, we will provide it on the venue)
