Public Safety and Crime Information Report for Canyon Country-West
The following crimes were reported in Canyon Country (West) last week (02/01/16-02/07/16):
Residential burglary- 18500 block of Soledad Canyon Road. Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked residence and stole a gaming console and $300 in coins.
Commercial burglary – 20800 block of Santa Clara Street. Person(s) unknown cut a chain link fence to a business and stole various vehicle parts and a laptop computer from one of the vehicles at the location.
Grand theft – 26400 block of Ruether Avenue. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s purse which was laying on a lunch table.
Attempted grand theft auto – 18800 block of Goodvale Road. One suspect was arrested after attempting to steal the victim’s vehicle near the above location. During the investigation, the suspect was additionally charged with various narcotics charges.
