Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a Canyon Country man for allegedly possessing narcotics and driving on a suspended license in Valencia early Wednesday, according to authorities.
Here’s the report from the station’s social media:
“A homeowner near McBean Parkway-Orchard Village Road noticed a strange vehicle on her street early Wednesday morning around 7 a.m.
“Strange in the fact that she didn’t recognize the vehicle as one normally seen in her street. It had been parked in the cul-de-sac for a while, and she didn’t recognize the male adult in driver’s seat.
“She reported the suspicious vehicle to (the) sheriff’s (station) and a deputy was dispatched to do a patrol check.
“The responding deputy made contact with the driver and asked if he had a driver’s license – he didn’t, BUT he did have narcotics.
“Deputies arrested the Canyon Country man, 51, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance without a prescription, driving on a suspended license, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.”
