Canyon Country West: Zone 7
Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 04/27/2015 to 05/03/2015
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
A robbery occurred near the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Sierra Highway. While the victim was waiting for a bus near the above location, the suspect walked up to the victim and punched him in the back of his head and demanded his money. The suspect quickly ran away and returned a short time later and ripped off the victim’s necklace. The two got into a short physical altercation and the suspect dropped the necklace and ran away. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station detectives.
An aggravated assault occurred near the 27000 block of Robert C. Lee Parkway. During a scrimmage football game three victims were assaulted when a small fight broke out on the football field. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station detectives.
A residential burglary occurred near the 20300 block of Rue Crevier. Person(s) unknown entered the victims open garage and stole items from within her vehicle which was parked inside. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station detectives.
A grand theft occurred near the 26500 block of Ruether Avenue. Person(s) unknown entered the property near the above location and cut off the brass back flow valve from the main water line. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station detectives.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 18700 block of Mandan Street. Person(s) unknown shattered the victims frotn passenger window and stole numerous items from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station detectives.

It’s really upsetting this is happening!! My child goes to Golden Valley and waits near this bus stop! Are there going to be more sheriff’s patrolling these areas!! ?
Fights on school campuses have been happening for 100 plus years. Hormones are moving. Not that big of a deal, unless it’s my kid.lol
The fight was between schools that do not attend hart district and was over the weekend not during school. GV had nothing to do with it.
Cops here in the SCV only give ticket. I’ve never seen a police car doing a patrol on my street, I’ve written then 10 times, they never came over.
