The Santa Clarita City Council has posted its Tuesday, Aug. 27 meeting agenda for proceedings at City Hall to begin at 6 p.m.

Items on the Aug. 27 meeting agenda include contract approval for an inclusive play area at Canyon Country Park; second reading and adoption of the Jobs Creation Overlay Zone allowing five-story structures; awarding of contracts for tourism marketing and dark fiber internet connection to Downtown Los Angeles; and additional city funding for construction of the new Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on Golden Valley Road.

The meetings will take place on the 1st Floor in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 23920 Valencia Blvd., Santa Clarita, 91355.

5. RESOLUTION ELECTING TO BE EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA CONGESTION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

6. CANYON COUNTRY PARK INCLUSIVE PLAY AREA, PROJECT P4018 – APPROVE CONTRACT AUTHORITY INCREASE

12. STORAGE AREA NETWORK REPLACEMENT

The City of Santa Clarita has been well served by two Nimble Storage Area Network systems that provide the storage capacity necessary for the City’s virtual datacenters. This item makes a recommendation to award a five-year contract to procure two new Nimble Storage Area Network systems to replace the current systems that will reach end of support in December 2019.

13. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AMENDMENT NO. 1 BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AND THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA FOR THE NEW SANTA CLARITA VALLEY SHERIFF’S STATION
