Do you think you have what it takes to rock the hills of the College of the Canyons Canyon Country Campus?
If so, don’t miss your chance to audition for a chance to play at the college’s Battle of the Bands on Sunday, May 18.
“We are so excited to be hosting this family-friendly music event for the community,” said Dr. Ryan Theule, Dean of the Canyon Country campus. “The Canyon Country campus is the perfect setting for outdoor music performances. It should be a fun-filled afternoon for music lovers of all ages.”
To audition, bands must apply online at www.keyboardgalleria.com by April 30, 2014. Keyboard Galleria will select five to seven bands for the competition.
Bands selected will have the chance to win a selection of prizes such as music equipment and cash prizes.
KHTS AM-1220 will also play the winning band’s music over its airwaves.
Battle of the Bands will be held at the Carl A. Rasmussen Amphitheater from noon to 5 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.

The SCVTV production team is proud to announce that “Finding Art: ‘Circle Song’ Community Tile Wall” won a Silver award at the 44th Annual Telly Awards.
