Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan reported an initial estimate of 503,490 outstanding ballots to be processed during the 30-day Official Election Canvass period.
The initial estimate includes Provisional and Vote by Mail ballots collected at the polls, as well as Vote by Mail ballots received in the mail postmarked on or before Election Day.
The Department will continue to accept additional Vote by Mail Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day through Friday (E+3).
These additional ballots are not reflected in the estimates below.

* Misc. Ballots**: 3,970
The estimated count of outstanding ballots must be verified before being counted. These numbers will adjust throughout the canvass period as we process and count ballots. Additionally, Vote by Mail and Provisional ballots are subject to verification of voter qualifications before counting.
