Valencia: Crime Report for the Week of June 13, 2016
The following crimes were reported last week:
06/13/16
Shoplifting-28000 block of Newhall Ranch Road
A male suspect was arrested from the location for trying to exit the store without paying for items in his possession.
06/14/16
Shoplifting-24100 block of Magic Mountain Parkway
A female suspect was arrested from the location for trying to exit the store without paying for the items in her possession.
06/15/16
Grand Theft Auto-24200 block of Magic Mountain Parkway
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle while it was parked at the location.
Theft from unlocked car-22800 block of Rio Chico Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole his insurance card and $1 in U.S. Currency.
06/16/16
Vehicle Burglary- 28500 block of Westinghouse Place
An unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole the third row seat from their vehicle.
Vehicle Burglary-24500 block of Town Center Drive
An unknown suspect smashed the victim’s side window and stole several personal items, including a wallet..
06/17/16
Grand Theft Auto-27900 block of Sycamore Creek Drive
The victim had his 2009 Yamaha Zuma motorcycle stole from the location.
06/18/16
Petty Theft-24200 block of Valencia Boulevard
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s purse.
Grand Theft Auto-23700 block of Via Helina.
The victim had his 2010 Saxon Custom built motorcycle stolen from the location while it was parked in his driveway.
06/19/16
Assault with a deadly weapon-25300 block of Rye Canyon Road
The victim was playing soccer at the location with the suspect. The victim did a slide tackle and made the suspect fall to the ground. While on the ground, the suspect became very upset and bit the victim’s finger very hard causing it to bleed very badly. The victim had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
Petty Theft-26400 block of McBean Parkway
A male suspect was arrested from the location for trying to exit the business without paying for the merchandise in his possession as he exited the store.
Please remember all fireworks in the city of Santa Clarita are illegal and you can be subject to fine and /or arrest for lighting off your own fireworks. Please make arrangements to attend a professional fireworks shows of your choice. Please remember the fire danger in our city is very high and we need to make sure we all do our part to prevent fires in our area. We encourage everyone to have a great 4th of July, safe and without incidents.
