The Santa Clarita Public Library, SCV Education Foundation and College of the Canyons MakerSpace are partnering to host the 12th Annual Family Literacy Festival themed “Explore, Play, Create.” This free event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Old Town Newhall Library located at 24500 Main Street.

Get inspired to create artistic expression with special performances by Ballet Folklórico and Saugus Choirs, as well as shows by talented musicians Joe Ayoub and Martin Espino.
Other activities include free face painting, a caricature artist, costumed character photo opportunities, a mini salsa dance lesson, storytime with a squirrel, food trucks and much more!
The event will also feature opportunities for participants to win prizes and giveaways! No RSVP is required to attend, just show up!
