Here’s the story from the station’s social media:
“Employees at a local hotel partnered with deputies Monday afternoon to catch two women who were heavily involved in fraudulent activity.
“A woman allegedly attempted to pay her guest bill of approximately $700 at a hotel on the 28500 block of Westinghouse Place with a fraudulent credit card.
“Employees immediately notified the sheriff’s station.
“Responding deputies looked into the incident and discovered multiple credit cards and identification cards in the hotel rooms where the woman was allegedly staying.
“They also found equipment consistent with those that are used for manufacturing and forging credit cards, along with Ziplock bags of methamphetamine.
“Deputies arrested two women, Janell Brown, 38, of Burbank and Noelle Haouas, 36, of San Ysidro on charges of forgery and narcotics. They were transported and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail.
