A disturbing video has surfaced on social media showing a group of high school-aged boys attacking another boy at Valencia High School on Friday night.
School resource deputies are investigating the alleged assault according to Josh Dubin, a spokesman with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The video shows as many as seven boys sucker punching the one boy. At one point the victim is held while another boy beats him.
According to a statement released by Gail Pinsker, spokesperson for the Wm. S. Hart Union School District:
“Valencia High School and District officials are aware of the alleged fight that took place after the football game on Friday evening at VHS. The District takes alleged incidents like this very seriously and the safety of our students is our number one priority. This case is currently under investigation by school and district officials, as well as local law enforcement, and any students determined to be in violation of district policies or Education Code will be disciplined appropriately.”
No one was seriously injured in the incident, Pinkser said.

No one was seriously injured? Are you kidding me? 7 guys jump 1 boy and Gail Pinkser has the nerve to say no one was seriously injured. Tell that to the boy who was pounded on. I seriously hope they sue everyone of those boys and parents and the district.
Typical Hart District response here… downplay the incident as much as possible, pretend it didn’t happen, and hope the problem disappears by itself. These guys have an awful track record of sweeping controversy under the rug time and time again. The Hart District dreads bad publicity… Way to fail to address the problem once again Ms. Pinkser.
Can somebody please explain to me how this is “alleged”? This is ridiculous. Gail, while you’re at it, why don’t you give the parents of these jerks a Parent of the Year Award?
Immediate action should have taken place. There is no need for am investigation. There is 44 seconds of proof right here. The school doesn’t care as much as the students do. The students started a petition to get them off the team because the school was doing nothing. This is shameful.
Alarming and extremely concerning, These kids are out of control. in the past few months we’ve seen threads of shootings, drug issues (talking hard drugs) The so called “purge” scandal, now brawls and attacks against other minors. Honestly what are we waiting for? Until someone is dead or something much worse happens? Thanks to the media we are now seeing some concern and hopefully some corrective actions.

“alleged” incidents ? Leave it to some bureaucrat yo try to cover her butt like this.
Everyone involved needs to be held accountable!
Alleged incident? It certainly isn’t an alleged
incident to the victim.

I am also irritated that the assailants are wearing PINK! A cause near and dear to my heart! Pure DISGUST!
