The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and County Fire Department will present Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training to the public free of charge.
The training course will be presented as a series of three classes on Feb. 10, 17 and 24, from 8:00 a.m. 4:00 pm. You must attend all 3 sessions to get your certificate of completion.
The classes will be held at the Acton Community Center: 3748 W Nickels Ave., Acton, 93510.
Following a major disaster, police, fire and medical professionals may not be able to fully meet the demand. Let’s not do this course nearest the population center in Santa Clarita…let’s do it WAY out in Acton to ensure as few participants as possible.
