The Golden State Athletic Conference has announced the All-GSAC teams in both mens and womens soccer.
The Master’s College junior goalkeeper Ilyssa Espiritu, senior defender Kristyn Richards and sophomore forward Shea Richards were honored in womens soccer. Senior goalkeeper Andrew Bussell and sophomore midfielder Taylor Shahi picked up the accolade for the men.
Ilyssa Espiritu finished third in the conference with a goals against average of 1.04. Earlier in the season she was named the GSAC Defensive Player of the Week when she recorded two shutouts in the same week.
Shea Richards, younger sister of Kristyn, was No. 1 in the GSAC in shots (5.6 per game) and tied for 4th in points (30).
Taylor Shahi finished tied for 6th in points in the conference with 20 and 8th in points per game with 1.05. Andrew Bussell was 2nd in saves (74).
The Master’s women’s team (12-6-2, 6-4) finished fourth in the eight-team conference, with the Mustang men tied for fifth (8-10-1, 4-5-1).
