Josh Randall and Chad Haslock combined to pitch a no-hitter to help the Hart Indians reach the quarterfinals of the VIBL summer baseball playoffs Tuesday with a 9-0 win over Royal.
Hart is seeded No. 4 among the 22 teams in the playoffs.
Centerfielder Pearson Good added four hits.
The Indians will play No. 12 Calabasas in the quarterfinals Thursday at Hart.
No. 3 Saugus is also in the quarterfinals after a 3-1 win over Crespi. The Centurions play No. 11 Camarillo on the road on Thursday.
No. 8 Canyon defeated the Braves of Birmingham 6-5 in nine innings to reach the Elite Eight. They next draw No. 1 Valley North, a.k.a. Chatsworth on the road Thursday.
