High school basketball returns to SCVTV starting Tuesday January 12, 2016 for our first matchup on the Parkway Motors Game of the Week featuring the Valencia Vikings and West Ranch Wildcats.

Both the girls and boys games will be televised starting at 9PM as the defending Foothill League Champion in both the boys and girls ranks, the Valencia Vikings, look to start their title defense off on the right foot against West Ranch.

The Vikings girls are off to a red-hot start at 10-3 as juniors Kayla Knorad and Kenadee Honaker lead the way while the West Ranch girls look to sophomore Annie Christofferson to get off on the right foot in the Foothill league.

On the boys side, the Wildcats have had the Vikings number winning eight of the last nine meetings and nine of the last 11 dating back to the 2010-2011 season. Both teams are looking to find their way with a new group of leaders after large senior departures from the year before.
