Saxtravaganza, Santa Clarita’s all-saxophone ensemble, will play a free concert at Hart Hall (inside Hart Park) on Sunday, June 25, starting at 7 p.m.
The program will offer listeners a wide variety of musical styles, including classical and movie themes, marches, tangos, rags and jigs.
The group is the brainchild of Kathleen Maxwell, a private woodwind instructor in the area.
Along with many of her former students and talented friends, Maxwell provides hours of musical mentoring to the younger players in the group.
This will be the 18th year Maxwell has offered this musical program in Santa Clarita.
Find Hart Hall at William S. Hart Park, 24151 Newhall Ave. in Newhall, CA 91321.
