The City of Santa Clarita’s Art Walk event will explore the “art of the tattoo” on Thursday, June 7, from 4 p.m. 8 p.m. on Main Street in Old Town Newhall.  The art themed evening will include free art demonstrations by local artists, a fashion show, photo shoots, gourmet food trucks, and live music by the Orange County based punk rock band Agent Orange.

A one-night art show titled “Off the Skin,” will feature the work of local talented tattoo artists that practice their craft on canvas, board, paper, and other surfaces.  Businesses along Main Street will take part in the Art Walk experience, including FRESH Lifestyle Boutique, which will host a pin-up fashion show inspired by the Steam Punk and Rockabilly cultures.  Canyon Theatre Guild, Newhall Bicycle, OutWest Western Boutique, and Egg Plantation will feature art exhibits; and the Repertory East Playhouse will host a bar/lounge for the evening.

Music for the evening will be provided by special guests and Punk Rock legends, Agent Orange, who will take to the stage and perform some of their greatest hits.  Art Walkers who stop and visit the Agent Orange merchandise tent can enter a raffle for one of two sets of free tickets to the 2012 Warped Tour, which is held from June 16 to August 5, 2012.  Winners will be selected at 8:00 p.m. on June 7 and must be present at the drawing to claim their prize.
