The KidSpace Children’s Museum in Pasadena has slated a summer full of interactive fun and learning experiences.

STEAMing through Summer, June 9-August 4, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
STEAMing through Summer is an eight-week series that creates learning opportunities in a fun and interactive way. Weekly programming will explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

In addition to STEAM programming, there will also be an emphasis on Imagination, Nature and Green initiatives.

Each week will conclude with a Kidspace Book Club where participants can creatively share about the books they have read.

Special programs during STEAMing through summer include:
* Sunday, July 8, 12 p.m.: Children’s Book Illustrator Visit – Eren Unten
* Saturday, July 14, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Mathematical Potion Making
* Saturday, July 14, 1 p.m.: Rumbling Rhythms Performance
* Sunday, July 22, 1 p.m.: The Second City
* Saturday, July 28, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens
* Saturday, August 4, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California

Pop-Up Program: Kidspace Book Club
Saturday & Sunday, June 9-August 5
10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:

Join Kidspace this summer for its first annual Kidspace Book Club! Each week, explore a new topic together by reading a book. After reading your book, pick a fun way to share what you discovered with Kidspace. You might write or sing a song, create a poem, make a piece of art — whatever makes sense to share your book. Bring your book share to the Kidspace Book Clubhouse each weekend, where you can show it to the Kidspace team and earn a button unique to that week’s theme.

Kidspace Summer Camps
Monday-Friday, July 1-August 3:

Kidspace has an exciting 7-week lineup of camp programs to transport your child into a world of exploration and adventure, creating lasting friendships and memories. For ages 5 to 9, 9 am to 3 p.m., $450 a week. Aftercare is available for an additional $75 for the week. For ages 4 to 5, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $225 a week. Book online at kidspacemuseum.org.

Free Family Night
Tuesday, July 3, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.:
Express the beauty of nature through art. Create a nature journal, participate in a nature photography challenge, and learn about the stories in the sky. Enjoy a North American Animals presentation by Wildlife Learning Center at 6 p.m. in Stone Hollow Amphitheater. Admission to Kidspace is free only during these hours.

Hotel Transylvania Character Visit
Saturday, July 7, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
Enjoy a special visit from characters Drac and Mavis from the upcoming “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation” movie. The characters will visit in intervals from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by to meet and take photos with them, and there will be giveaways for kids to enjoy (while supplies last)!

Early Learner Programs
Baby & Me, Weekdays
July 10 to September 1, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.:
From animals to outer space, in this eight-week class, you and your child will explore the world together through hands-on activities, song, and play! Our skilled team will lead you through fun activities designed to foster cooperation, boost social development and strengthen motor skills all while learning about art, science, and the world around us. Onesies (12 to 24 months) sessions available Wednesdays or Fridays and Twosies (24 to 36 months) sessions available Tuesday or Thursdays. Fee is $225 per child. PLAYDATE 
Saturday, July 21, 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.:
Why should kids have all the fun? Join Kidspace for its inaugural PLAYDATE, an after-hours fundraiser event for 21+. Featuring food, drinks, live DJ, and activities throughout the museum. Sunday, July 22, 1 p.m.:
Come to Kidspace and enjoy The Really Awesome Improv Show, performed by the improv artists of The Second City Hollywood. Fun for all ages, the show features games that rely on audience suggestions and participation, is great for the whole family.

Kidspace Children’s Museum is located at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd., in Brookside Park, Pasadena 91103, on 3.5 acres of both indoor and outdoor, interactive environments. The museum features more than 40 hands-on exhibits with daily programs and monthly events for children ages 1 to 10.
