In its second and final indoor track meet of the season, The Master’s College women’s indoor track team posted tremendous marks at the 18th annual CMS Rossi Relays.
In the 100 meter event, Ayla Draper (Visalia, CA) won her heat with a final time of 13.11 seconds.
Micayla Frankian (Saugus, CA) completed the 3000 meter run 17th overall with a final time of 10:47.66, setting a new personal record along the way. Charity Schroeder (Palmdale, CA) finished the event 20th overall in 10:53.85, while Jessica Hawley (Santa Clarita, CA) rounded things off with a final time of 12:45.56.
In the women’s 4×800 meter race, the Lady Mustangs finished the event sixth of 17 teams with a final time of 9:48.41.
Finally, TMC’s distance medley team finished second overall with a final time of 12:11.34.
“Our women’s distance medley squad competed incredibly well, posting the third fastest time this year in the NAIA,” commented head coach Zach Schroeder. “It’s exciting to see how well we stack up against the rest of the nation.”
Now, at the end of the season, the Lady Mustangs now will focus their attention to the outdoor season. Next weekend, both the men’s and women’s teams will compete at the Mangrum Invitational.
