Etienne Juarez RosasA 24-year-old Winnetka man has been charged with raping a woman at the parking lot of a Valencia restaurant, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Deputy District Attorney Emily Cole said Etienne Juarez Rosas, 24, faces one count each of kidnapping to commit rape and forcible rape and two counts of sexual penetration by foreign object in case PA084623.

Rosas plead not guilty Friday in Department S of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, San Fernando Branch, said Ricardo Santiago from the District Attorney’s office. His preliminary hearing was set for Nov. 19.

The sexual attack allegedly happened on Oct. 25, inside the victim’s vehicle while it was parked at the restaurant on the 27500 block of Wayne Mills Place, the prosecutor said.

If convicted as charged, Rosas faces a possible maximum sentence of 75 years to life in state prison.

The prosecutor is requesting $4 million bail.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Santa Clarita Station.

  17. Dennis Slater where did it state he was an illegal alien. To be Latino does not equate to be an undocumented. He is a rapist and a scumbag, but you are a racist.

    • Keoki Keoki Keoki Keoki says:

Latino is not a race so Dennis can’t be racist.

    • I didn’t say anything about his race. I said something about his legal status. Hes an illegal alien and we all know it. Cant wait for Trump to get in office and handle this horrible problem of illegal immigration.

      • Laura says:

Dennis Slater how do you know his not legal?? What does trump have to do with an innocent woman being raped??? Do you remember the case of the white dood who raped and killed his own, first born daughter who was no more than 3 months old?hmmmm well I guess cuz he was white u didn’t have much to say about that huh? This is not a matter of anyone being legal or not! So sad santa clarita is getting worse each day that goes by. I hope all these people who commit these crimes pay for there crimes none of them are any different there all monsters here.

    • Erwin Blanco Erwin Blanco says:

      Dennis Slater your right

    • Erik Meloni Erik Meloni says:

The character of a rapist would be synonymous with the same type of dirtbag who WOULD cross the border illegally,so it’s safe to assume he’s undocumented.
Think about it,if he can’t get laid legitimately what makes anyone think that he’d enter our country legally?
      Get a clue Guadalupe

    • Um no the character of a rapist is NOT synonymous with those who cross the border illegally. That is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve read today.

    • Dennis Slater when you judge someone by the way they look and assume that are illegal just because they are latino that is being racist. Yes I would figure you would be Dumb Trump follower.

    • Erik Meloni you sound like an uneducated man. Rape is a power crime. An assumption is only that. YOU Get a clue… and don’t be ignorant, to be undocumented does not mean you’re a rapist.
He will have his court date and a jury to convict him.

    • Jason Moller Jason Moller says:

Guadalupe Meza Marroquin Thump is decent and Knowing a person of high caliber of you and your well being, when Donald JTrump wins or possible another candidate. I would definitely never miss represent your wishes and your a nice woman to yourself.

    • Illegal aliens are criminals just by being here. Does the word illegal mean anything to you? Unfortunately most of them commit more crimes besides just being here too.

    • Erwin blanco we live in the united states and only are laws are valid. Period.

    • Guadalupe…not that I see who you are and your background it doesn’t surprise me that you support illegal immigration.

    • But all i see out on the street is a bunch of white people standing at fwy asking for money …how sorry is that but illegals work ….i don’t see them asking for money all i see is a bunch of lowlife white people out there

  31. This is really scary! Here in our Santa Clarita ! How did they catch the man?

  32. Dennis Slater yes I do know the meaning of criminal. There is a difference between unlawful and criminal. Again, there was no official statement saying the suspect was undocumented.

  33. Dennis Slater who said I support undocumented immigrants. Your rhetoric is unsound. You obviously do not comprehend very well. My background. .. you have no idea again making assumptions.
