Man Charged with Battery for Allegedly Punching Deputy in the Face

Erik Pigati, 28, of Canyon Country, faces a felony charge of battery on a police officer with injuries after an incident early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

“Around 2:40 a.m. Sunday, deputies were on the 20400 block of Kelsey Street assisting two intoxicated males when one of them allegedly punched a deputy in the face in an unprovoked attack,” said Shirley Miller, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman.

“The suspect was taken into custody with the help of a couple additional deputies,” Miller said.

Pigati was taken to the SCV Sheriff’s Station and booked.

“The deputy was medically treated and released and thankfully there weren’t any significant injuries,” Miller said.

    This type of stuff didn’t happen in the GOOD OL DAYS.
    This turd would have received a nice HICKORY SHAMPOO and then he would tell his friends about it thus establishing RESPECT for Law Enforcement.

    I miss the GOOL OL DAYS.
