A woman was arrested Saturday night after a stolen electronic tablet was traced to her home in Canyon Country Saturday night, according to a post on the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s social media.
Here’s the story:
All the pieces came together Saturday night for a Canyon Country man who had items stolen from of his vehicle.
One of the items swiped from his parked car was an electronic tablet. The victim was able to remotely track the tablet to an address on Rock Rose Lane.
He drove over to the address and saw that the garage door was open, and guess what he saw inside — some of his stolen items!
After deputies were notified, they went to the Rock Rose Lane address in Canyon Country and were able to recover the victim’s property from the garage.
Inside the residence, deputies found several bags of brand-new merchandise that still had the price tags attached.
A 35-year-old unemployed woman who lived at the address was unable to provide receipts for the items or explain to deputies how she obtained them.
In one of the bedrooms, deputies also found methamphetamine.
Jimena Dominguez, age 35, was arrested and booked at the SCV Sheriff’s Station. She is facing multiple felony charges including receiving stolen property.

Yea! Love it what a great idea. Let’s do this with all of our stuff.
happy 2018 to all except the criminals
When someone is damaged by a crime, we do not blame or belittle the victim, we help them. And prosecute the criminal.
