The William S. Hart Museum at Hart Park in Newhall will host a special celebration of all the pets and critters who made its original owner’s house a home on Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hart was the ultimate animal lover. His deep respect for animals was cultivated early in his childhood and he carried it with him his entire life.
Visitors will be able to add their furry (or scaly or feathery) friend’s name to the Celebrity Pet Walk of Fame, discover what it means to be a good pet parent, and help honor Hart’s legacy by making blankets, toys and other items to be donated to local animal shelters and rescues.
Open and free to the public, the event will take place in the area outside the Ranch House at William S. Hart Regional Park, 24151 Newhall Ave., Newhall 91321.
