Getting Social: Art and Social Networking will feature a discussion about the use of Social Media for marketing your art and communicating your message.
This panel of experts will provide artists with some key items, tools and concepts to consider when branching out into the Social Media World.
Panelists include Kelly Hargraves, Marketing and Media Relations Manager for REDCAT, Chris Reynolds, Director of Marketing for GYST-Ink, and Mitra Cline, artist and Marketing Director for WAV Artist Council, Art Director for Ampersand Community Newspapers, and was the Creative Director for Lenco Mobile, and Visual Design of iFixit.com- awarded best online community at SXSW in 2010.
The City of Santa Clarita City Council and Arts Commission is proud to present the New Heights series, which is designed to assist artists, performers, and arts organization representatives to expand their knowledge and to learn valuable tools to increase their ability to be successful. The series comprises workshops, panel discussions, and art trips that are designed to engage creative individuals, no matter what level of experience.
